Everyone has a tale to tell - the myth and lore of their own life. Each of us is the hero on our own hero's journey to the path of remembering our authentic selves and claiming who we're meant to be. Our inner dragons are unique to us as individuals and it is our willingness to face them, and understand them, that determines our quality of life.

As the celestial seasons shift and the wheel of the year turns, we are reminded that we are an extension of nature. Doing the inner work to face our dragons and move with the seasons keeps our life-force moving, liberates us from the past, and creates an authentic life that’s aligned with who we really are: free from society’s expectations, family conditioning, and the things that tie us down to the paths we’re not meant to take.

Cycles & Seasons is a community membership for those who long to build a deep & profound connection to the wild nature within and without, and who are ready for growth.

Hi, I’m Riss! I’m a certified Jungian coach specializing in shadow work, as well as a professional astrologer. Cycles and Seasons is inspired by my love of Jungian psychology, astrology, mythology, and Nature both in the external world and within every individual. Over the many years of practicing my craft, I've always turned to Nature for its rich lessons around authentic living. When we forget how to coexist with the ups and downs of life due to shadow and unconscious conditioning, we move through the world on autopilot. We become unaware of the invitations that are in front of us to let go, hold on, challenge our comfort zones, and create safe spaces for ourselves, thus stifling our potential. I created Cycles and Seasons to help people restore their sensitivity to the subtle pulls for growth and authentic alignment. This membership provides a safe container for personal development with the support of like-minded individuals who are moving through their own growth journeys.

INCLUDED IN THE MONTHLYMEMBERSHIP

The new moon helps you to realign and reconnect to the true self and its desires. The community will receive a short  recorded meditation and some practices to set intentions from a place of consciousness and wholeness, coupled with the current seasonal themes.

Members are invited to share their experiences with the other members inside the community during the week of the new moon.

Every month, my community comes together in an intimate online circle to share their dreams. We ask each other questions, dive into symbolism, and support each other in uncovering messages from our unconscious to help us on our healing and personal development journeys.

For each quarter moon, I post a check-in and challenge inside the online community space.

This is the time to get whatever you might need: ask questions, share your experience, update us on your progress, be celebrated, get support, and create accountability. It's also a space to be seen, witnessed, and held with compassion if you make a mistake (which is inevitable) or stumble along your growth journey.

Oftentimes, it's during this cycle that  progress is made and inspiration is stirred by community sharing.

During the live full moon ceremonies, we always cover astrological, mythological, and symbolic themes at play for that moon cycle.

We then do a variety of things to access the shadow, such as journaling prompts, visualizations, and other practices. Others will sometimes share their experiences and support one another.

I also often have guest speakers who offer a variety of modalities, such as yoga, EFT tapping, witchcraft, dreamwork, poetry, coaching, and more.

The Cycles & Seasons community is a safe space to dive into spirituality and your craft. Many people feel uncomfortable sharing this part of themselves with others, so this is a great space for it.

The online community will encourage you and other members to get out of your shell and make friends at your own pace.

Although allowing ourselves to be seen can feel challenging, all are welcome to share when they want others to witness their experiences, either during the live ceremonies or in the private community hosted here on the website.

"Imagine a creative, playful fairy godmother stationed at a natural well site who you can choose to visit or not visit as you please. But why wouldnt you go as often as you could, when shes offering you outpourings of love and gentle nudging accountability and self awareness and beautiful growth. And shes somehow summoned this incredible community of humans that are like you and not like you but it doesnt matter because you either support and/or learn from each one. Just come to the Cycles and Seasons well and be softly bamboozled into doing the work for yourself."

A peek into the themes at play

On February 21st at 8 pm EST, join myself and guest speaker Yasmin Elzomor for a full moon ceremony to prepare for Spring! We’ll be honoring death and rebirth cycles around relationships with cord cutting, astrology, folklore, and more.

Within the sign of Virgo, this full moon is connected to purification and cleansing, providing us with an opportunity for spring cleaning. Prominent themes that have been associated with February since the pre-christian era are love and relationships.

Valentine's day and Lupercalia (a pagan purification festival involving match making) give us an opportunity to celebrate the warmth that relationships bring to our lives within the darkness of winter.

However, if we aren’t embracing the death and rebirth cycles within relationships, they turn stale, cold, stagnant, toxic, etc. People cheat, resentment builds, unhappiness ensues, and it’s all because we are unwilling to go to the underworlds of our beings and face the raw truths that will actually catalyze evolution and rebirth within the relationship. True intimacy is being willing to see and share our authentic truths with others, and it is when we stop being intimate that our relationships fail.

Yasmin, relationship + sex and transformational coach says “We will die and be reborn multiple times in our romantic relationships and the key to winning that game is to understand that alchemical process within ourselves and our partners”.

The Virtual Ceremony

We'll be doing a cord cutting ceremony to release what is no longer working for us in relationships, and honor the death & rebirth cycles we experience with others. I will cover the astrology, folklore surrounding February and relationships, and Jung's lover archetype and the role it plays in our psyches. Yasmin and I will both lead a cord cutting ceremony. Yasmin will also share 5 practical ways that we can keep a long term relationship alive.

What is Cord Cutting?

The function of Jung's lover archetype in psychology is to merge with another being. We all have this archetype within, and when we do merge with others on an energetic and emotional level, it is believed that 'cords' are formed between us. Cord cutting allows us to release energetic cords that bind us to others (or aspects of a relationship) that aren't serving our highest good.
